    Shooting Low - Samson FFS-B?

Just recently finished building my rifle and have been trying the 50 yard zero where your point of imapct = point of aim. However it constantly shoot low, like real low. If I aim at the center, point of impact is near the bottom of the paper.

The front sight is the and Troy BUIS for the rear. Shooting Wolf 62gr and Remington UMC 55gr out of a LMT 16" 1:7 upper. Obviously I cant adjust the rear sights as far as height and my FSB is already at the lowest setting. The post on the original FSB can go a lot lower than the Samson one. Im wondering if it has to do with my sights or what?

    Shorten the front sight post.

I suspect there's something else going on though.

Thanks for the quick response, however I dont think Im anticipating fire if thats what you mean. My pulls are pretty smooth and steady.

Has anyone else had experience with the Samson FSB's? I dont really want to file anything down.

Second post gave you the solution...

If poi is low you can fix it in two ways: Either lower the height of the front sight post, or raise the height of the rear sight aperture. Obviously, you can also get another front and/or rear sight. That's the way iron sights work
