    lowers siezed by doj

I was wondering if any fellow callguners had lowers siezed by th doj when they raided a certain sac. area ffl earlier this year? and if so have you heard anything about it from doj or the ffl? I had 2 dsa lowers and I am worried I will never see them or my money after numerous phone calls to doj and the ffl.

True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

Please PM me with who you think the FFL is.

If it's the one I think it is, it's ongoing and appears no charges filed and DA is holding the bag not knowing where to go. If it's another one, I'd like to know about it.

Let's stop the speculation on who it was. Things are progressing OK, we don't need to add 'color' here.

Why were they siezed? Legal lowers right?

There was nothing illegal seized. Personal vendetta by DOJ's Iggy. This will be resolved at a higher level than Iggy. As I understand, charges have not even been filed - Iggy recommended charges for local DA but nothing happened.

Bill, ok... speculation aside-- is this one we've all missed the story on? I dont recall a SAC raid. Just wondering if its one of the FFL's I know.....

                        It was not a raid...
When a guy get's an ffl, he signs away his rights to freedom of unlawful search and siezure (sort of). The DOJ can, and does execute "inspections" whenever they feel fit. The DOJ reserves the right to exercise, at its own discretion, an elastic interpretaion of the AW laws...
This thing was routine, as were all the other inspections dealing with ffl's who sell olls. Sure -there's a whacked agenda being promulgated by one maroon with a badge- this agenda costs hundreds of thousands of dollars- from taxpayers and to the innocent defendants- the defendants who are already known to not have broken any current law... it's a scare tactic. A trial method to cut the number of FFLs in the state. (if you'r an FFL- PM me- I have some disconcerting and un-official news from the ATF national office.
The Attorney told me he was notified that DOJ recommended charges (as bill said) and DA did not act (he thinks the DA there is/has communicated with other DAs in similar sits. They are just putting off the inevitable, to drop the charges.

AFTER that, that attorney has agreed to file all the grievances and complaints we can muster. He's been working with the madison society on other pending cases... but again... he will need money. To make this offensive worthwile, will cost upward of $10,000.00
PM if you are interested in sending $ to this attorney's office.

No consumer will get bit here (unless thise of you who had already purchased olls, may be under investigation, pending charges right now)
Just like the other 3 customers in my case. They were all in 10 day wait, none had posession, and no guns were illegal- so good luck- get a good gun lawyer on speed dial! It will save you the $10,000 bail money.

Geeze... I've heard this before... wonder how it turns out this time?

And how many more time's it goung to happen. This thing called BOF can be stopped- it will take $ and lots of people agreeing to set aside difference of opinions, and work together, toward ONE goal.

That sucks, , legal OLL waiting for the 10 period , nothing illegal and the purchasers are under investigation, Im still in the twilight zone episode were I dont see the a valid reason

that's exaclty the problem- there is no reason- no necessity to justify or otherwise quantify the actions and policies being enforced by these people. They do what they want, and you pay the price.

Can the DOJ individuals involved be named in a civil suit for this kind of harassment? Maybe even a class action suit?
