    AR-15 Handguard removal

Hey guys can someone advise me on a proper way to remove this handguard? I tried the ar-15 wrench but the nipples don't fit. I tried a strap wrench but that didn't work either. Any ideas?

I hade one just like that. The free float tube, depending on your model, has either red or blue locktite on the treads. You will need to heat up the thread area with a hair dryer for blue or a torch for red locktite. Some elbow grease also helps

You might need a proprietary hand guard nut wrench too. Probably yankee hill our something similar.
