Rock Islander, you now know why "buy once, cry once" is a valid statement. If it had been a bottom-dollar RDS, you may well have been picking up pieces. As it stands, you can have confidence in a good piece of gear.

I can't wait for this weekends IDPA match because there are a a few rifle stages mixed in. I will get a chance to really use my AR and get a few good scratches on it

And if the front sight is canted on an AK, you can take a hammer to it to align it straight.

Don't do that. If the front sight is canted, adjust the windage.
