AK Question: forward grip model?

Illiterate AK guy here. I've seen AKs with a wooden handguard with a forward grip. Can you guys give me some more info on this particular type of AK?

Romanian is one type, believe a few different countries did these style.

Romainain: (Dong furniture)
- If its wood and it curves forward = Romanian G Kit
- If its wood and it curves back = Romanian Under-folder MD-65

East German:
- Bakelite and looks like a pistol grip attached to a Bakelite lower handguard

Hungarian: Uses duplicate wood and plastic pistol grips mirrored
- AMD 65
- AKM 63

I believe the G kits were made 78-mid 80's at least those are the ones I have seen. The were used by the royal house guards and stamped or etched on the side of the sight block with a capital G. Many of these kits did not see too much round time and tend to be very new looking. Here's my old G:

The Under-folder sweeps backwards instead of forwards on the dong.

Those are colloquially known as "dongs" haha.

Many people dislike their appearance (hence the nickname), so you can get a set of "dong" handguards pretty inexpensively if you look around forums online.

My dong is just sitting here collecting dust..... Ok ok ok I had to say that. But I do have the dong hand grip here that I'm not using it needs to be refinished I think it has one small dent
