Yeah, I almost thought the guy brought it in as a joke too. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it. I'm going to work on it tomorrow and I imagine I can get everything out of the wrong holes without any damage.

ok thats the last time i bring my gun to riflegear, you guys said you would not tell anyone about this!

is it fixed yet? he he

in my line of work i see this kind of thing all the time, sometimes its hilarious, other times its very annoying having to repair the tim the tool man fix before you can start fixing it.

More armed citizens = Quicker response times, less victims.

Guns should only be surrendered one bullet at a time.

Can I assume the homebuilt AR concept is more of a hobby thing than for practical purposes? I only ask because factory built AR's are relatively inexpensive and would seem to evoke more confidence in their functionality than a frankenbuild parts kit.

No knock whatsoever to AR builders whatsoever by the way!

So I think there should be some pictures as you "disassemble" it to see what the damage is lol.

I could see how if you were totally clueless that logic would suggest the roll pin goes in the selector detent hole, that way when you slide on the pistol grip it stays in place? but the detent in the trigger guard, thats not even logical, thats pure stupidity.

but then again, I built mine for the first time with no help, with one punch(the wrong size at that), a screw driver, hammer and some youtube, in my office on top of all my papers and bills on my desk in 30 or so minutes, so really no excuse for this.
