Not that I would need them or anything, since I already have them.

    YES!
Promag just started production on 20 and 30 round mags for the Mini-14 that are (arguably) the most reliable after factory mags. Promag also offers thermold-type mags, but remember with those you may need to break them in some before they work 100%.

If you like Mini-14's make sure to check out http://www.perfectunion.com You can read for hours about anything related to the Mini-14. The Mini is an awesome weapon for those who invest a little time in it, imho.

Wipe the grin off your face and stop making us ALL look like a buncha felons sitting around going, "Ya well you can't prove nothin'".

If you disobeyed an immoral law that I also disagree with, that's fine and I'm not going to judge you on it, but for heaven's sake don't brag about it openly.

How old is your Mini-14? Ruger no longer sells anything but the 5 rounders to us, and PMI is no longer is production.
I think the compatibility of your Mini with current mags depend on what series you have. I have the series before the most recent changes, I think 187##. This series doesn't seem to have any problems with John Masen and Promag. I personally prefer the Masen, doesn't seem to stick out as much.

Hmmm... I don't know. I bought it new 2 years ago.

                      Is that the serial number?

you should have no problem then.

my old PMIs work fine, i bought some new promags from 44mag.com and on those i had to slightly grind down the back piece (the small ridge that protrudes on the back edge of the mag) on the promags (about 1/32) for them to snap in correctly.

The first 3 numbers of your serial number will give you an ideal of how old your model is. I looked back, and my series is actually #197. Doesn't matter.. if your model is 2 years old, you should be ok with the current batches of magazines that are available.

Really? perhaps the next time you are going out to shoot you could show me how to make mine shoot that good (not that its bad, hell it may already do that and I just dont realize it).
Pm me, I only live about 20 mins from you and could meet somewhere.
I'd also like to figure out how to keep mine from throwing brass 25 feet away.

That gun should be sent back as there is something wrong if it shoots that good
