    cmmg 9mm upper question

    I just picked up a brand new cmmg 9mm upper. I have a question about it and there was no manual included in the box. Is the forward assist functional? It looks like it is supposed to be functional. However, I can't press mine. So, wondering if it is defective, or just a decoration piece.

      nm. I think I found my answer. The bolt doesn't have forward assist grooves. So I'm guessing decoration now. But feel free to comment anyway.
