i used a tube of car axle grease a buddy had lying around. Make sure you check the headspace after installation if it isnt a factory matched bolt....you can never be too careful.

While it can't hurt to check the headspace, it's unlikely to be necessary since it's set when the barrel extension is installed on the barrel. The idea of a "matched bolt" on an AR is mostly marketing.
