Vltor or Mega

Been lookin at lower recievers.

Can't decide between a Mega billet lower, stripped

or

a Vltor forged complete lower.


Havin a tough time deciding, I am looking to build a high quailty ar. My upper with be the Mega billet monolithic upper

with the Vltor, the mag well grips are cool.. but the over sized mag release button may be an issue with finding a bullet button for that huge square hole?? dont know. other than those 2 it seems like a pretty REG. lower.

and the Mega, would be my choice. why? 1) put whatever LPK and FCG you want in it.. 2) it already has an upgraded trigger guard...and 3) Mega lowers are pretty nice i think.

I say Mega to match the Mega upper. again the mag release would be a problem unless you were going featureless.

Go with the Mega. If you don't already have the upper, they can send you a matched pair so you get perfect fit. They also have similar magwell grips to the Vltor (though maybe not as agressive, depending on model) if you're into that sort of thing.

and with the Mega, your only downside will be your scrunched up fingers with all the GLOVE wearing that you will be doing im sure while shooting...since it does not swing down..

Mega , if your getting the upper might as well make it match. I love mega products. I wouldn't hesitate one bit buying Mega.
