Tikka T3 Sporters are becoming available in the US

Some of the T3 Sporters are becoming available in the US, finally!

I really like the stock design, but the colors seem a little...different. Nice rifles nonetheless.

These rifles would be great starter rifles for competition shooting (Tactical, long range, Highpower, etc.) or even hunting. No doubt they will be excellent shooters.

And, the best part? Almost all chamberings (excluding .222 Remington ) will be imported! I want a 6.5x55 Swede!

Tikka has started to import its new T3 Sporter, which features an ergonomic, laminated stock, detachable magazine, adjustable cheekpiece and a nice, stiff action with integral dovetail and side bolt-release. The trigger adjusts from 2 to 4 pounds.

For Sale here (call for what is in stock):

Eurooptics is asking $1695.00. Not cheap, but I do not see it being too high considering you get: adjustable stock, detachable magazines, accuracy guarantee (we all know Tikkas shoot just fine), rifling rate twists suited to caliber, excellent trigger, smooth and stiff action, target style accessory rail, and Finnish quality of workmanship.

When they come out with a nice aluminum/molded stock I'll pick one up for my wife in 260

Manners and KRG make nice stocks for the Tikka actions. But, if I were going to replace the stock, I would not get the Sporter as a lot of that money is in the stock.

If you could get a chance to use one of the sporter stocks, you wouldn't want an aluminum/molded stock.

I second that, wooden stocks for the win!

I really love the look of the new sporters. The thing is at that pricing my old 595 master sporters are a bargain!
