    Rifle values online?

Is there a place online to go for bluebook type values or is paying for a bluebook the only way to get them?

If I posted this in the wrong spot, I apologize. I'm just trying to determine the value of a rife I have. 81 Rem 700 LE Classic.

You can go on gun broker and see what people are charging and or getting. Good luck

I think the BB of gun values will help get you closer to your answer. But remember it is just a gauge of value. Based on that book some folks are willing to pay more and some less. It puts you in the ballpark, so to speak.

Does gunbroker, show what was paid or what was asked?

Tried that, nothing in history or anything. I know they only made 2000 of them that year.

In that case wait for some of the more informed to chime in I'm sure they can give you an estimate. I have no clue myself.

take it to a dealer. Whatever they offer you multiply at least by 2 (up to 4 if they are less "reputable") and you will know

The Blue Book is a decent guide, Gun Broker, Guns America and other sites are not.
