    Fn scar17 pr - sweet!

Looks like I'll be saving up for a while for this one.

I wish fn would get rid of the stock!

    FN SCAR PR vs LT762...

Time will tell. I refuse to speculate until it hits the floor, however being it's an FN and they dared to put PR in the designator, I'm going to bet it's good. It will be close...

I was really hoping that this would come with the Mk 20 stock ;(

Looks like I'll be saving for the MR762.

Scar 16 was well balanced, lighter than it looked. This one will be front heavy with the long heavy barrel and light weight stock in the back.

I'll take my AR10 over that.

Under 10lbs with a heavy barrel and huge rail sounds like a win to me

An AR-10 will outperform it, especially in the MSRP :P

Add a good bipod and scope, what 12.5 pounds before the magazine is in? It's likely a pound under most semi-auto precision rifles. Nice platform. It'll be $$$, bet your arse on it.

well, when they were talking about a Mk20 civi model (which this seems very similar to, minus the stock) rumor mill had it between 6 - 8k

I'll take the 17 anyday over any legacy platform rifle in this caliber (save for maybe a PSG, but thats a different story) but I must admit if its going to be 6k plus range, the bang for your buck just isnt there.

                              Still looks awesome though
