Burris AR 332 red dot sight

Does anyone have any experience with the Burris AR 332 scope? Does the scope co-witness with iron sight on M4 or Sig 556 rifles?

It's a 3x powered sight. Forget about co-witness because you can't see the irons through it.
I do use one on a Keltec RFB with great results.
Holds zero, works without batts and mounts to pic-rails and non-railed standard AR receiver.

i just looked thru one today for the first time....

wasn't impressed..the reticle is tiny, i have good eyes and found it was hard to use the little dots in the reticle as BDC

Good point! I am going up to Reno and will stop by Cabelas to check it out. If it does not work out, I think I will just use my good old Eotech on my Sig 556. I do need to add a 3x magnifier because my eye sight is going downhill fast!!

I've got one mounted on a Ruger SR-556 and can't say enough good things about it.

My boss has one and I like it. He has it mounted on a quick lever riser and the mount that it comes with has a see through it that lines up with the backup sights. 2 different positions for scope and backup sights. I like the scope and it works well.

                    Hi Shafferds,
What kind of rifle did your boss mounted the scope on?

Got one mounted on my Adams and I got it on a QD mount made for a Trijicon ACOG. Fits like a glove and works great!

I have one and its a pretty good scope...It also has good nighttime clarity too(set to green light)..my only advice is if youre planning on purchasing one, buy a quick detach mount for it.

Have you seen the reticle on an actual ACOG? the "tiny" reticle on the AR 332 is actually larger than the standard chevron on a real deal trijicon acog.

Thank you all for your replies. I checked out the sight today at Cabelas. I was very pleased with the quality and function of the device. The reticle is small, but I think is suitable for 100-200 meter shooting. I brought it with the quick detach mount. I can't wait to take it to the range.
