What year did you build your first OLL (Off List Lower)? Post a pic if you got one!

What year did you build your first AR with a OLL (Off List Lower)? If you have a pic of that first one post it!

My first one was built in 2006. I went to the range with a friend of mine who brought a friend that had built 5 Ar's with OLL's. That's how I learned about OLL's.

So my first OLL was a CMMG. I built the rest of the gun with a Model 1 sales kit.

Here's a pic of it. (Note: I had trouble finding 10 round mags so I had to convert one of my 30 round mags into a 10 rounder. It hurt me to do it!!!)

And a pic of it in it's last configuration before It was entirely rebuilt. (Obviously it's the closest one in the pic)

This range looks familiar, Angeles Shooting range familiar. Your rifles look very nice, hard to believe they were from Model1. If you are still looking for 10/30 mags, Addax tactical in the San Fernando Valley stock them.

First pic was taken at "A Place To Shoot" and the second pic was taken at "Angeles range".

Actually only my first AR was built with Model 1 Sales parts. There wasn't much available back then and I was still learning what parts to use and what parts not to use. (actually I'm still learning )

It was either 2001, 2002 or 2003. Can't remember. I didn't have a digital camera back then so I don't have pictures of it. Used an out of spec lower from Vulcan and they refused to correct their issue as they were all out of spec back then. Shortly there after built my second one using a Lauer Custom Weaponry Lower and it was perfect.

I thought my first build was in 2002 because my Mom has a picture of me at the range with it dated Feb of 2003 on the back. That's actually what made me start this thread. I was over at her house last night when she showed the picture to me and I couldn't believe it was that long ago. I think the date on the picture is wrong! The best I can figure it must have been late 2005 or early 2006.

originally wanted a spikes lower, but the store sold me a c3 defense lower (which i never actually see on this board, i swear i am the only one that has one) anyway, i built an a2 clone out of it.

just last year actually. I have a lot of friends that have been building ARs forever, but I never really was interested until I just had to have an AR pistol.

                        Pretty simple and straight forward.

Milled out 80% lower, so its as OLL as you can get!
                        LMT upper.
Rifle extension (no I do not own a rifle stock, so all the "constructive possession police" can relax"

Crappy pic, Id have a better camera if I didnt spend my $$ on gun stuff!

Started September 2011, My first AR build is a LR308, now in a process of building 2 more AR's in 5.56, one in the process and just dros'd another JD lower

Just needed to decide on which scope.

My current project, still deciding on the upper.
