pacrimguru: and chance you can post that link for those of us that have signatures turned off?

Wow that turned out sweet! I may just go with a 9mm lower and be done with it. I can always use the other lower for something else

I used the Spike's magwell on mine, and like pacrimguru with his Hahn block, had to play with the ejector a bit to get the mags feeding properly, but it wasn't too much effort. Got it close by testing with snap caps, and then made the final adjustments on the fly on the first range trip.

I have a spike's adjustable block and a hahn top loader. The Spike's worked fine in my carbine build but not so much in my pistol build. Hahn did fine tho. For simplicity I'd go w/ a dedicated 9mm lower like the CMMG that I got.

Why 9mm? Why not just get a handgun.

Well I love to shoot my AR as cheap as I can without it being a .22. Plus I have a 9mm handgun. I wanted something that not everyone has. Its the same reason why I just built a 5.45x39 AR. because I can
