    Help me ID this lower

I want to know if I can buy this AR from my out of state friend and install a bullet button. The gun is a bit of a Frankenstein that he didn't put together and it was assembled in the early-90's but he isn't using it and is selling it cheap.

In case the image doesn't show.

    The lettering on the right:
    EA. CO.
    KR. PR. LA.

    On the left:
    Cal. 223-5.56
    MOD: J-15

I'm worried it might be one of these but don't know how to tell for sure:

    Eagle Arms: EA-15 A2 H-BAR, EA-15 E1
    Eagle Arms: M15 (all)

The same question was asked and answered here: http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/ar-talk...-question.html

    EA = Essential Arms

KR SPR LA = Krotz Springs, Louisiana

      it says "J-15"

      doesn't that mean it's NOT
      "ea-15" or "m15" ???
you don't rise to the occasion,
you just fall back on your level of training.

        It's off-list.

          Essential Arms
J is not M or EA
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.
