    Featureless Question...

Can I go featureless if my barrel is threaded and the brake isn't permanently attached?

yes, that has nothing to do with featureless rifles.

Threaded barrels are good to go on rifles period.

The only reason to permanently attach a brake or flash hider in the case of rifles would be to get the over all length of your barrel over 16in as per fed law.

Hand gun is a different issue.

      Is this a rifle?

Threaded barrels do not seem to be listed anyplace on the flowchart.

Although be careful that your muzzle device isn't sold or advertised as a "flash hider" because that's considered a(n) (evil) feature.

Featureless has to have a break, compensator, thread protector, or bull barrel only.

A muzzle device has to be permanently attached to "add" to the length.

Yep, the CAR-x cans and the SD-x cans both shroud back over the barrel and give you the suppressed SBR look. Only the ET-x cans add length.

Measure from the end of the barrel (w/muzzle device removed) back to the leading edge of the front sight post.
