AK47, 10/40 lever mag, J-Tac47 Muzzle brake, & Bullet Button Kit, Check it out.

well, my ak is finally ready to be shown off, and all of you ak haters please keep your negative comments to yourselfs, this thread is for the AK lovers on this board.

THE GUN: Idaho Armament Hungarian AK parts kit (Metroshot Firearms) very good quality, and craftsmanship!!! 10 out of 10

FINISH: Ceracote, its a ceramic based finish that came stock on the gun, its nice

STOCK: Ironwood Designs Laminate, finished with custom mixed stain, and hand rubbed Tru-Oil. what can i say, the stock rocks!!! 10 out of 10

MUZZLE BREAK: AKConcepts J-TAC47, pretty pricey, but worth it, it controlls recoil much better than the slash cut break the gun came with, rating 9 out of 10

MAG LOCK: Coldwar Shooters bullet button kit. you insert the bullet from the bottom and depress the lever, you will see me sticking a screw driver in that hole to show you where, works great, but needed some demeling to fit and work right. but overall rating 8 out of 10

MAGAZINE: 10/40 metal mag, came with the gun with a rivet to limit it to 10 rounds, i modified it to a lever mag, now it has 2 things limiting it to 10 rounds, the lever and the rivet. i cant rate this one because i modified it, so i cant rate myself or my own work, ill let you guys be the judge, oh and for the knob im using a tapco ak pistol grip escutcheon which i blued because when it came it had a not so nice color of rust. i also blued the lips of the mag where i cut that channel for the lever so it doesnt rust or look home made. and i used 3 small washers in between the knob and the follower so the knob doesnt rubb against the side of the mag, but its still a nice and flush looking lever, much lower profile than the others before me.

any qestions you guys may have on any component on my gun, ask!!! ill be glad to answer questions.

well here it is, so what do you think???

          nice work there
if you have a bullet button you wont need the levered mag.most people use a levered mag if theyre going the fixed mag way.

i know i dont need a lever mag, but i wana have the lever on it as a 2nd method of permenentley making the mag a 10 rounder. the way i put that lever on, you cant take it off without destroying the mag.

as for the price, please contact Pat at metroshotfirearms dot com to ask him the price, and thanx pwall, if you get one ill be more than happy to help you mod it. im good at smithing

it was already dark when i took the pics, my digi cam doesnt work so well under those conditions. ill try to take a pic of it under sunlight. those pictures dont do the stock color and shine any justice.
