You can buy a parts kit and join a build party to have it built. Checkout solartactical.com or apexgunparts.com for parts kits. Or get one from Atlanticfirearms.com and have it sent to a ffl to do the transfer.

Read this first.A tutorial for AK build parties then head on over to the gunsmithing section and read some more. Ask questions on anything that you're not sure about.

I know apex has barrelless kits. haven't looked at ST but imagine they do as well. Another option if you want a one stop shop is ak-builder.com. they have kits, flats, and all the parts you'll need.

If you just want to purchase a draco though, check out valkyrie arms in Milpitas.

Are there any known issues with Draco's? I understand the positives of building your own, but if the Draco's are good production units, unlike WASR's, I don't think there is enough savings to warrant building myself. I don't recall seeing any Draco or "AK Pistol" kits, but I recall most AK part kits costing at least $2-300 w/ barrel, then add at least $100 for receiver and fees, then it doesn't seem I'm too far off from the price of just buying a Draco.

no pistol kits per se, but there are kits that would otherwise be SBRs, and thus a
              candidate for a pistol.
However, given that the kits obviously dont include a receiver, provided you build from a flat any kit could be turned into a pistol.

There is even a clagunner (dont recall who) that turned a PSL kit into a pistol!

Dracos have been hard to come by for a while now. We just got some mini Dracos in stock - they are pretty cool.

The Draco has a good rep so far. There is one vid of a guy with a Draco that "blew up", but it could have been bad ammo, not sure, it didn't really impress me as an overall issue. I am not a Century fanboy at all, I loath the company to a degree, but the Draco was constructed and imported from Romania. That is why I picked it up and I don't believe Century touched the one I own b/c it has the original FCG, which is smooth as butter. Furthermore, it has an 11.5" barrel, perfect for the 7.62x39 round and a close quarters combat firearm, "gets around 2300FPS with 123gr ammo, which is within 50FPS of a full length barrel.*" The only knock I have against the weapon is that it should have a folding stock, which just won't happen in CA, SBRs are pretty much impossible. I also had to use PB Blaster on the front windage drum to loosen it up b/c is was so tight. I actually broke a UTG sight tool on it, so stick with the Tapco sight tools, which you can get on Amazon for $6.

Here's a fun thread for you to go through as well. Some decent info - http://calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=400216

I don't know about the Draco mini, it doesn't intrigue me. I'm not sure if they are built in Romania or if the Century guys suddenly had an idea of what to do with random leftovers in their shop. I hope they are built in Romania. It has a 7.5" brl, "the mini seems to be clocking in around ~1950FPS with the same ammo. Losing 350FPS with a 123gr projectile makes for seriously lousy energy downrange. At 200 yards, the mini Draco should keep the bullet ~1600FPS, for about 715 ft/lbs. The full-size Draco keeps it to ~1929FPS, for just over 1000 ft/lbs.*"

Get a Draco if you can.

And WASRs aren't bad either, it's just the whole problem with Century, their QC is terrible. One WASR could be the perfect go to battle rifle, while another could be the complete opposite. If you have limited knowledge on the AK platform in terms of inspection before purchase, get a Henderson Defense "Certified" WASR and you'll be happy.
