What accessory will be more fun first? Red dot or muzzle device?

So what is smarter or better to buy first to optimize my AR as a fun range gun? Iron sights are zeroed and the gun has been broken in at about 250 rounds. Especially if I have it in my to invite friends who don't shoot regularly or first time. Like I have it in mind to eventually ask this girl I'm talking to and seeing if she'd like to come out and share my hobby and make it cool and fun for her Not gonna try to train her to shoot well yet, just bring her out, make everything seem cool, fun, and interesting and not too hard or intimidating. I don't think she's ever done this before, so what do ya'll think will make it easier for her? More muzzle control with the compensator or simplify aiming with a red dot like the Burris?

Red dot sight or PWS FCS 556?

I will eventually have both but must control spending at this point in time. I should add that the first time I took her out just the two of us, I looked at the bill, smiled but thought "Wow, you must really like her because for the price you paid for dinner could have bought the red dot, rail mount, and compensator."

Red dot. I am assuming you have some sort of break already as most ARs do. Red dot gives it a cool look and feel.

get a Primary Arms red dot with mount. It will make it easy for her to aim, making it fun for her to shoot.

flash hiders aren't very fun. Being able to hit the targets more easily definitely is.

Also adding a brake will increase the noise level which might be intimidating to new shooters. My girl was hesitant to shoot my AR at first after she heard me shooting it. I would definitetely go for an optic.

+1 while the blast from a muzzle brake may be cool to us its not neccessarily the most inviting things to a new shooter.

Most new shooters dont know what to expect sound wise when they shoot for the first time, so adding a comp might make it a little more initimidating.

                    red dot.

muzzle breaks arent really necissary for range use. just makes things louder and more uncomfortable for everyone else.

                      Red dot for sure.

You'll forget you even bought a muzzle device after a week or 2 of shooting. That's one of the last things you buy on a range gun IMO.

Good point guys! I forgot that the compensator dramatically increases blast volume!

                        Red dot it is then.

Red Dot, should make it easier to shoot like others have said. Plus she will for sure think it looks cooler with a "scope" on it!

+1 for Primary Arms. Good quality, low cost. It's not an Aimpoint, but it really doesn't pretend to be.
