Decent .223/5.56 bolt action

i shoot tikka t3 in .223 and the accuracy blows my mind... i sold a savage to get it if that means anything. the accutrigger is a love/hate thing. I used to love it, shot the tikka, now i hate it.

Anyone know of a good source for Tikka in the Bay Area? I'm looking for a stainless varmint model either the Varmint or Super Varmint.

J&R in livermore tracked one down for me. They were super helpful. I believe they said there are some varmint in .223 floating around, but none in .308. I could be wrong. I believe they said there were some super varmint to be had as well, i don't remember the caliber.

I love my Winchester "Varmint" with a nice heavy barrel in stainless steel. I admit I haven't shot it a long time cuz I'm into AR's right now. Consider that version.

screw that, get a mosin nagant from Big 5 .... $99 + tax and DROS....440 rounds for $80....cheap scope.....and you will have a HOOT! Kicks like a mule!
