      Yep, 7.62x39. I figured that would've been self explanatory since a .308 won't fit in an AR15 mag well.

      Negative. I'm trying to consolidate calibers. The AR was the only gun I had/wanted in 5.56, every thing else is in 7.62x39. All my rifles are 7.62, either x39, x51 or x54r. Makes it way easier to buy ammo.
