yup he's talking about 7.62x39, not 7.62x51. These threads kill me. Its always a good laugh when people think a 7.62 AR15 upper means somehow you figured out a way to make .308 fit through the magwell. I still have yet to even see a single shot .308 upper (not saying its not out there someplace, jsut that I haven't seen it)
Negative. I'm trying to consolidate calibers. The AR was the only gun I had/wanted in 5.56, every thing else is in 7.62x39. All my rifles are 7.62, either x39, x51 or x54r.
