There is an auction over at Ebay that will take "your" Ruger 10/22 trigger group. The service will change out a few items to clean up and lighten the trigger pull. The service runs about $50.00. Has anyone tried this guy before? The name of the place/store is STS (Superior Tactical Solutions). Anyone have any personal experience with his work?

Ruger 10/22 Trigger Work?

No experience with that guy but on many other people's recommendations I've installed the Volquartsen hammer into both my 10/22s and that alone has reduced the trigger pull down to about 2.5#s. Midwayusa has the hammer and modified bolt release on sale for $30 now... http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpag...eitemid=145851 -
I have, and they really do lighten up the trigger pull.
Only problem is I requested they lighten up my trigger pull to 2 pounds and on my 10/22 bull barrels the guns have a habit of doing double and triple taps.
Kinda fun on the 10/22 but worrisome about me getting in trouble with the feds.I'm Rick James...Be-otch!!!!

Do you know if its breaking at 2 pounds or maybe less?
Double tapping would be cool if controlled, but scary too.....
After looking around, I think I might change and send my trigger guard to another place.
They'll work on my trigger guard and do some bolt work too, I'd like my bolt jeweled! $15 is cheap enough for a bit of flash, LOL. I'll be picking up my 10/22 next Tuesday and I'll be putting on a laminate stock with a 17HM2 Heavy Barrel with bolt modification.Last edited by joel1316; 10-26-2005, 1:06 PM.Comment
