AFAIK usually the barrel profile is what they refer to.

Look at the barrels, the light weight one is skinnier. The other is skinny only under the handguards.

The barrel between the FSB and Flashhider is much thinner on the lightweight one.

Lightweight Pros: lightweight
Cons: not as accurate.

The lightweight one has a thinner "pencil" barrel. It heats up faster but also cools down faster.

Yea i just noticed that after flipping from picture to picture 50 times I noticed the barrel seemed to change sizes

Is the light weight one slimmer than the standard m4 barrel?
or is that the m4 barrel?

M4 profile barrel has the cuts to mount a launcher I believe. Not sure if I have ever seen a midlength barrel with M4 cuts. As for which is slimmer, I do believe the pencil barrels are indeed slimmer.

Yea its for the M203 launcher. and I dont think they have them because thats where the FSB goes.

Yeah, I knew there was no need for them on a midlength, but was guessing someone may have liked the look and tried it anyways
