    Since the C can be fired from the folded position,No.
    the CA is legal because it can not be fired when folded.

          CA=SU-16C features + SU-16A stock

          Another way to configure SU-16s is to buy the AR-15 pistol grip conversion from the Keltec store, then add a grip wrap(e.g. Solar Tac). This featureless setup is much more ergonomic than any stock version.

              I tried searching but could not seem to find an alternate, I'm trying to locate a source for a SU-16 takedown pin (longer than the OEM one with pull ring)? The only supplier I could find (www.takedownpins.com) no longer sells them. Thanks

                CA was made for CA, its a play on words a bit. It both stands for California and stands for C+A. So you're both right. (It wasn't called AC for a reason)

                  You can buy a simple hitch pin from the hardware store that works fine. That's what I use for extras in my CA. I got the one that looks just like the one from that site basically, and put a ring on the end of it myself.

                    Well, AC would be Air Condition! So of course that won't work either!

                          He is ordering straight from Kel-Tec? I've seen SU-16CAs in stores last month.
