    Benelli MR1 Question

Hi, I recently purchase the Benelli MR1 rifle and was wondering if there is any compatible pistol grip/butt stock that will fit it. I've looked everywhere online and can't seem to find a compatible butt stock w/ the pistol grip.

I know it's illegal to have such a butt stock/grip with a detachable magazine, so the stock also has to be fixed too and I was hoping to purchase a solar wrap mod to declassify it as a pistol grip.

Worst comes to worst I would only put it on when I am out of state, heading to Vegas next month and was hoping maybe I can get to practicing with it in the desert.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Mesa tactical is your best bet, as Nowwhat mentioned.

I'm pretty sure any M2 or M4 shotgun stock will fit the MR1.

Also try ebay. The first batch of MR1's sold in California were not produced with that crappy comfort-tech stock, but were converted in other states (stocks swapped out on shotguns) and then sold in California. There are still some extra's floating around.

I have never seen anyone with such a stock on their MR1... There were pictures of such a setup when it was originally to be known as the Beretta RX4.

But once they sold it under the Benelli name, it only came with that standard stock...

It actually ONLY comes with the pistol grip stock EXCEPT here in CA. You can't reach the mag release without taking your hand off the stock on teh CAh legal version (why I just sold mione) it was designed for the PG stock.

But buying one and locking tha mag -- why? Just make an AR

The M2 Shotgun stock will fit it. Mesa Tactical makes a great M4 stock that will fit it as well.

Because you'd have to get a cast iron handguard and lead filled stock to make an AR weigh as much as an MR1.

Of course these new AR's are lighter, They only hold 10 rounds
              To the OP
Check on Gunbroker. I picked up a Benelli PG stock for my out of state adventures for $70 The bargains are out there!

Of course, the mag release is ambidextrous so I just use my left hand. The MR-1 is really a great little carbine. The price is steep, but I love using 30 round mags. It's well worth the $$ IMO.

As stated above - I do not think that there are any other stock options for the MR1. I have yet to see an aftermarket stock for it

Has anyone mounted a Aimpoint or Eotech on a MR1 yet?

Does the M4 pistol grip fit the MR-1?
