I went in on day 10 after the time stamp on my receipt and the guy just called the corporate office, and they gave me my gun... No problems"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"

I had to wait like 13 days once and the 14 or 15 the second time because my local gun store was only open like 4 days a week and then on the second one the owner was out of town for a week. No biggy.Comment

Turners and other shops have been "spanked" before by the DOJ for the 11 day thing.
2 years ago, Turners Chino Hills was doing 11 days... they are now doing 10.
The only reasonable exceptions would be if the store is not open on pickup day, or closes prior to pickup time.
Yes, you could reasonably have a 14 day wait if pickup happens to fall on, say Thanksgiving Day and the shop is closed for the 4-day weekend.
So don't buy guns on November 14th unless you know the shop will be open on Black Friday- Rich

They can try, but the law specifies 240 hours.

12071(b) A license is subject to forfeiture for a breach of any of the following prohibitions and requirements:
(3) No firearm shall be delivered:
(A) Within 10 days of the application to purchase, or, after notice by the department pursuant to subdivision (d) of Section 12076, within 10 days of the submission to the department of any correction to the application, or within 10 days of the submission to the department of any fee required pursuant to subdivision (e) of Section 12076, whichever is later.
12071(b)(3) just says that they could lose their license if they delivered before the 240 hours was up, not that they had to deliver as soon as the 240 was up.Jack
Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
