    Scope mounting

I have a vortex strike fire that I want to mount to my upper. Does anyone in orange county have a gun vise and levels that I could use to mount my sight??

Why do you need a vise and levels for a red dot? Just curious.

You don't need any of that dude.

Just mount it, and zero it.

Even if you have no bore sighter, you can zero it, by pointing the scope at a target and looking through the barrel and making rough adjustments.

All you gotta do it get on paper first.

Do it yourself...Have a level if you can to make sure that everything is balanced and then go to the range and sight.

Make sure your eye relief is comfy is important.

Just fasten the scope where you feel it will be comfortable and will not obstruct your view. Red Dots don't need to be leveled. Simply slap it on and boresight it. Hit the range to fine tune it.
