It's not we don't want you to trash our spots. We just don't want random people adding know knowing our favorite spot and when we go out we don't have a spot to shoot because all these kids or people we told are now at our one and only paradise.


At least that's how I am... Its hard to come by your own shooting spot these days with all oxygen getting shut down or people camping and not even using it for shooting or just people being dumb about it and getting those spots taken away

I went there about 3-4 weeks ago and there was nothing but shell casings and target trash all over the place. I'm talking corrosive eletronic equipment, bottle glass, tires, bulletproof vests, and thousands of shotgun shells.

Please pick up your trash even if it adds another hour.

Also, since it will be your first time, be very careful out there. My buddies and I were setting up targets on a ridgeline and almost immediately we were on the receiving end of .50cal bullets. Their rounds were hitting approx 15 feet away from us in 1-2 min intervals. We almost returned fire.

Whoah, what? That's their bad firing when someone's out on the hill, not yours. Did you see or confront who was firing?

We always take a rake and a few trash bags to the range with us. Generally we fill them all up with other folks trash in the hopes that someone else will do this too and it will become habit for everyone so no one has to pick up after anyone else.

Last time I went to Oroville my friend was shot at 25 yards out by a moron 2 tables over from us. I was in my draw when my yelling finally sank in.

my kids love shooting/ride trips we have been doing this as part of the routine they dont even think, they just start picking up hulls and trash as soon as I start unloading the toy's.
