    DROS Question....

I just started a DROS for two Spike's Stripped Lowers on Saturday. I just decided to buy a new 870 express 12 gauge, and was wondering if there is any way at all to include that in the DROS I already started, or if I have to start a completely new DROS.

    Thanks

No you will have to start a new DROS for the new firearms.
    Please, calm down.

That is correct. You just need to get better at timing your gun purchases

According to my local gun shop, you can buy another rifle with the completed DROS at the same time. I don't know about rifle and shotgun. Quote me if Im wrong.

Technically you have to start a new DROS. In reality it depends on your dealer. Call them and ask as not all dealers do what "they are supposed to".

yep, ask the FFL. My FFL lets me add stuff to the dros, even after I've picked up the gun for the original dros.

But, if he won't let you add it, then get your money's worth and put two long guns or more on the next dros. Saiga, AK, .22, Savage Bolt gun...? Can never have too many, thatz what credit cards are for!

bad bad, you forgot to add some sort of pistol. you should try to piggyback it whenever possible due to the 1-pistol-per-30-day rule,

Luckily for me, it looks like my DROS says I am buying "3" firearms, and not "2" (just checked my copy). Pat must've known that I might find a good deal on another rifle before my DROS is up in 30 days, hehe.

Needless to say I went ahead and ordered the Remington 870. Here is a pic:

I figure Pat @ MetroShot in San Fernando was anticipating me purchasing another rifle in the next 30 days, so he added and extra firearm on the DROS papers. More guns for me =)

                        Thanks Pat

I like to use that trick on my high rollers too. I just add a gun or two to the DROS and they usually can't resist! Now it might be hard to edit your comments now, but if anyone asks officially, you had walked out of that shop that day with all three guns ordered and committed to.

Yeah my FFL will let me put more than I am expecting on the DROS and I can always get less than that, but they won't let me add to the # I started with.
