I shot my buddies Stag Arms AR15 a couple weeks ago and liked the ergonomics, I'm a lefty and I was interested in their dedicated lefty ARs. I was looking at the piston operated AR (model 8L i believe). Any pros/cons, experiences people have had with Stag Arms would be appreciated.

no snob factor behind em. My experience is limited to one my best friend owns, and its a shooter. Does not seem like wolf ammo much, but then again a lot of the snob brand ARs dont either...

Never shot a lefty but the right hand ones are decent. I've heard the l series are solid as well.Comment

I have a full Stag build with 20" upper and detachable carry handle. Originally, I had a rear back up sight on it. Accurate with both sights and I have never had any jams. I also built a C3 lower with a Stag 16 inch upper and put an aim point and my BUIS on it. I love em both. Another plus is they are chambered for 5.56 not just .223. Whatever you buy, I would recommend this chambering as 5.56 is not recommended out of a .223 chamber.Comment

One of the best for the price. Couldnt be happier with mine. At least 5000 rds. down the pipe including wolf and tula steel cased with only a few fte' s. You won't be disappointed.Comment
