Just got a LMT CQB Piston rifle. Anything i should know about this?

    Had the original gas AR.

Had the LWRC. Worked great, no real issues. Just little Nit picks.

Now have the LMT Gas Piston.

Question, anything I need to know about this gun in particular?

No quirks or nuances... according to all reports it shoots like a DI and cleans like a piston.

Wayyyy, overreaching assumption. In fact, i had to sell other items to afford this and am still paying for it.

One thing you oughta know is you can go from GP to DI and viceversa, just get a DI BCG and barrel setup.

no, no doubts about the gun. Now that I have it, I need to know how best to care for it and if, there are any little quirks, to my baby. Yes prescious baby, kiss, kiss, kiss.

Just curious, what were your nit-picks regarding the LWRC?

The little screws holding the handguard on were difficult to access, but a Minor quip. main thing, the threads seemed to be soft. Still minor.

The gas parts were in sections that had more parts than the lmt, which seemed simpler.

On the LWRC, had to remove handguard to access to clean.

LMT, you can leave hand guard on

other than minor interfaces of LWRC, it just worked. These two are top tier makers.

Thanks for the response. In regards to your question,

                          Here are some insights:

I agree , just enjoy it and shoot it.

Don't mess with the quick detach torque screws holding the barrel in if you dont know what your doing. Some people tend to over torque them and snap the screws.

Mark the screws with a small thin line of paint/coating, marker onto the receiver. This will show you if the screws have drifted or moved during a shooting session. This is optional, and more of a personal preference. They will likely not move at all.

The gun is close to perfect as is.

                              OK, cool, main question.......

Will the BCM Gunfighter charge handle fit it?
