Mini 30

how come I cant find a Ruger Mini 30 anywhere? One of the dealers near me, said that they stopped making the 2005 models, and he doesnt know when the new ones will be made. Does anyone know anything about this? I would contact Ruger, yet the only means that I could find to contact them, is by phone, and I do believe it would be a long distance call, and I'd rather not do that. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about the Mini30's fate. But an SKS fires the same round and is much much cheaper. Turners has them on sale right now for $175.

The Ruger is a muh prettier gun though.
