Overheating handguard?

    Those handgaurds might just be prone to heating up as is, im just considering how close the handgaurds are in proximity to the barrel itself-ive never shot a rifle with any JP products on it.

    I remember seeing that Jp sells heat sinks for use in conjunction with their feorends, maybe they are just prone to excessive heating to begin with.

      That's why you see plastic/rubber rail covers on peoples' rails.

      Since yours is just a tube, maybe try wrapping it in 550 cord like this FAL:
