As to the polymer concern, it is a non issue that people worry about. When people talk about tough durable handguns, they put Glock up there and Glocks have been running poly frames from day 1. The Scar and ACR are not using some cheesy plastic, once you actually play with one this will be apparent.

      I wouldn't pay 1800 for a used one. Here's a new one for 1599.

Just have it go to Henderson Defense for CA compliance. This gun is real easy for compliance, just a Yankee Hill comp($30) and a Solar Tactical grip($40-50).

If you want to cut barrel to 14.5". I sent mine to ADCO, they did a really nice job. The rifle feels better when you shoulder it.

This is what i was saying about the bullet button damaging the frame. This IS my fault for abusing it. I noticed it when i was out with almost 30 people and they where all shooting it. I have faith in it being strong, but the button makes you chew it up if you dont baby it. JMHO

Oh man. I use the plastic Magpul bullets for all my bullet buttons so maybe that why I don't have any marks.

Do you have the new aluminum bullet button or the old plastic one? Wonder if that makes a difference...

Yeah, that 6.5 AK is amazing. Have you seen it recently? I posted a pic of it from about 2 weeks ago. Marc gave it a finish and put a Mako stock on it. I keep telling him I will buy the prototype but he won't sell it to me.

I know a seller from Texas that will add the bullet button and disassemble the 30 round mags prior to ship for 1650, shipped to CA. If you supply the parts 10 round mags and bullet button

I actually still have my plastic one, but thinking of taking it out and sending it to them.
