    Muzzle brake/fake silencer

Thought I saw a web site that had a muzzle brake or compensator that looks like a fake silencer.

    Thanks

You're gonna have to be more specific.

rareair- thanks it did look like MFI, but the can was adjustable to open and close the holes to adjust the amount of gas released.

unless your doing this to add length to a short rifle barrel I would suggest you opt for a real and probably lighter compensator like pws or another company.

I have actually had a huge problem myself with an officer at one point over a fake can and I can honestly say if I couldn't afford a good lawyer they would have found something else at that point. One thing to understand about guns is this, the cop just writes the ticket the District Atorney is the one who decides the charges brought in front of a judge. And when your talking about a class of generally unscrupulous scum with political ambitions a federal firearms conviction gets them all hot and bothered. I've seen it many many times before unfortunately.

Are you thinking of the Ares Armor Effin-A comp? That's not a fake silencer. It's a little large for what it is, but nowhere near the size of a sound suppressor.

                This is very good advice.

All I'm going to say is, never put anything fake on your guns, no matter how cool it looks. That's what airsoft is for.
