CHANGING PEEP HOLE SIZE AFFECT ZERO AT LONG RANGE?

I have a Wilson Combat TRFURS. For those not familiar with this BUIS, The peep hole is bigger than the small A2 sight. Elev/windage is 1/2 per click.

I made the hole size smaller, same as that of an A2. What I'm wondering is, will this have any effect on hold over at longer distances?
I'm using the RIBZ method, and what I noticed is, after the 25 yard zero, dialing 4 clicks for the 50 yards zero, my poa=poi is about 2" higher.

    Your thoughts?

I don't have a definite answer, but just thinking.

Since its a circle it shouldn't matter if its the size of california or the normal size. If the middle is still the middle(and that's where one aims from) then in theory it shouldn't matter how big the peep is.

So, maybe you didn't make the whole perfectly circular in the same spot?

IDK i may just be rambling now.

yes it does. for example on standard irons changing from the 02 to the non marked aperture is 4moa.

this is based on the assumption that the center of the circle is in the same place for each ring, which IIRC isnt always the case, depending on the model of sight

Agreed, thats why I made the hole smaller, about the same size as the non marked apperture so I can get a more accurate shot.
My concern is about the same plane thing I've read on other threads, I think it was Diesel who mentioned that F marked FSBs and non F marked would make a difference with what rear sights are used when shooting long distance. So if I made my apperture smaller, I'm no longer sure if the sight is still calibrated if I zeroed at 25 and turn the elev dial 6 clicks to shoot at 400 yards?
