    Ar 15

I just changed out my butt stock on the ar 15 to a magpul. Now I can't lock my bolt to the rear. What could be wrong

I can not understand how changing a stock could affect the lock back of a bolt. It's really hard to believe that the stock has something to do with it. Try putting on the old stock and see what happens.

I'll wager that the screw holding the buttstock on is too long. I've seen it before. Did you have an A2 buttstock before, and did you use that screw to attach the new buttstock? If you did, the longer screw is keeping the buffer from fully coming back, hence the bolt carrier won't go back far enough to engage the bolt stop.

Still using a rifle buffer in a carbine tube?
