    AR muzzle device question.

    Is there any way to use a 1/2 x 36 muzzle device on a 1/2 x 28 barrel?
I'm guessing no, but if there is some sort of adapter could someone point me towards it.
My problem is trying to find a variety of compensators in 1/2 x 28 in 9mm!

Another question is could I just bore out a 5.56 muzzle device to 9mm. thats 3.5 mm of material being removed and I dont know how much of the muzzle device I can safely remove.
    Anyhelp would be great. Thanks.

No you can't adapt it. You could have that portion cut off and re-threaded or you could open it up. You need to go oversize on the bore or the bullet will contact (destroy) the compensator. Take it to a gun smith.

I found another option but I'm not sure if the tolerances on Pistol (Glock, Berreta etc.) compensators will stand AR use.
Lone Wolf Arms is the largest manufacturer of aftermarket parts for Glocks. We also have M&P Shield, Beretta/Taurus, and Browning Hi-Power parts.

I dont see why not, both are 9mm and mine is a 5" barrel, not like I'm putting it on a carbine. If I'm missin something lemme know.
