I bought an ADCOR BEAR last March. Sold it off in May. Main reason I purchased it was the unique features such as the floating piston system & the forward charging handle. I shot about 300 rnds through it within a couple weeks of ownership. It didn't shoot any worse, but it certainly didn't shoot any better than my POF rifle.
It does have a handful of cool gimmicks, but for the $2400 price I should have bought a SCAR

& a bunch of SIG pistols and rifles

rareair, any feedback on the ejection port cover they use? did it work as advertised? I'd just as well buy a BEAR upper since it's standard AR everything else on the lower, and not have to DROS.

The wiper mechanism was a cool unneeded feature. What's not described about the ADCOR is that the wiper & ejection door are made of plastic. It is not interchangeable with it's metal counterparts.

the rifle doesn't give me warm fuzzies so it's a pass.
