Anyone use a Bell and Carlson Medalist stock

    Hi Fellas,
I am trying to build up a lower end target rifle on a budget. I am considering buying one of these stocks. Model 2999, It has the integral aluminum bedding. Any reviews from you target shooters would be appreciated.
I will be using this stock on a Savage 10FP, 24incher,accutrigger rifle.

Or if you guys want to recomend a different stock for a similar price please do.

Heres the setup I have so far:
    Savage 10Fp, 24 inch barrel
Warne 1 piece base. 0 MOA
    Burris extreme tactical rings, low
    Super sniper 10X, rear focus
    6-9 harris bipod, pivot model

I just want to change out the stock.
    Thanks guys.

I am pretty sure Prc329 and rksimple have B&C stocks on their savages, I will let them chime in though.

Its a pretty good stock. I think for the money, it can't be beat. I've done a little work to mine to make how I want it, but from the factory, its just fine for most people. Heres a couple pics for good measure.

          Awsome guys,
Looks like some savages. How do you like them so far. Nice group you shot there. I havent even shot mine yet. I need to research on what ammo to try through the 1/10 twist. All I have right now is 308 chinese steel cased ammo. I dont think that I want to fire that through my new baby.

DJ- I think most of the new crop of IOR's are going to come with the larger, exposed knobs. They are fantastic.

Gah, while mine is in the shop getting the set screws put back into the elevation knob/turret assembly I should trick them into agreeing to put one of the larger sexy knobs on it!

If you buy a Savage and don't get the HS/McMillan model you must get this stock. Period.
