I really love the idea of a 7.62 Russian AK, but at the same time, I wish they would kinda make it a little bit more modern. I know mounting optics isn;t the easiest thing, but hell if a small company (Texas Weapon Systems) can come up with a dust cover that holds zero, how come the Russians couldnt?
Unless the TWS dust cover mount isn't that good. I like the idea of it anyway. Many people would agree that the sights on the AK are its weak point. Modernize the dust cover, add a rear peep, and leave some 1913 rails--I think that's the way into the future.sigpic
