          I will never buy anything made by Red Jacket. I bought a rifle from a Cal friendly vendor and had to have some warranty work done. I sent it back to Red Jacket, had to wait 3 months to get rifle back.

          When they finished the warranty work, they informed me they would not send back to me here in Cal and welded the side folder open. When I was told by Will that he would have to make a permanent modification to the rifle, I pleaded with him not to. I asked to please ship this to the FFL that I used when buying this from the vendor that I bought it from. Will out right said NO. He said that since he knew that this was going to California, he could not. I tried to explain that my FFL in Colorado would make the needed modifications, he still said NO.

          He made many excuses about being on TV and many Government Agencies where watching their shop. I tried to reason with him and explain that I shipped this prior to his TV show but had no luck.

          We all should refuse to by anything that he makes due to his refusal to work with our state.

              yeah I wouldn't ever buy anything from that over priced box of tools. Have you guys looked at their site to see the price of the The "Shootrite Katana"? HAHAHAHA $1849.00 Have you bumped your gawd damned head? Hell the hand guard is only $110 I could build that for right around half that. I guess I'm in the wrong business.

                He did eventually did ship the rifle to my FFL in Colorado but welded the side folder into the open position. I tried to explain that he would not be breaking any laws if this was shipped to Colorado and to please let my FFL in that state make the need modifications. He just could not be reasoned with.

                Yes, I did get the rifle back and had to have it DRO's all over due to Red Jacket putting a new receiver on it. The original receiver had rust coming from under the rails, under the pistol grip reinforcement plate and where the rear trunnion was installed.

                I think the TV show has gone to their head......

                    turbothis does honest no bs work and has a fast turnaround time for stamped builds. i shipped a m70b1 kit and nds 5 receiver and got them back all built up in less than 2 weeks.

                        you should demand a new folder, those things aint cheap. if not then we all boycott them.

                          The trouble of dealing with Red Jacket is not worth it. I decided that I will never do business with them.
