HELP can't decide on a scope.

So I'm looking to place a new scope on my 6.5 grendel rifle. Right now im running a ELITE TACTICAL 10x40. My rifle a Black Rain Ordnance match set with a zero fail BCG, wilson combat trigger and a 24" Hart bull barrel. So im looking at the Nightforce 5.5-22 x 50 NXS or the Leupold MARK 4 LR/T 6.5-20x50. I like the Leupold the most but Im worried about only having 70-MOA elevation adjustment vs the nightforce 100 moa of adjustment. Lets hear from you that have either or. thanks

:Iagree: cousin had 3 and all 3 had either adjustment problems or reticle were out of wack. It was the lower end one but still.. Go NF and be happy. Leupold you sort of pay for the name. Great glass but you pay for a little more than what you get IMO. If one was on sale Id jump on it but if I had a choice for a NF or leo easy choice go with the NF you get better features for the same price and they seem to be more rugged the the mark 4's.

More of a hunters classic glass choice. Like rednecks buying F150's instead of tundras... Both do the job but one is just a classic in the sport.

Also if you have the $$ check out USO. Pay a little for the name but they are durable as f and are beautiful pieces of glass. Maybe premier but those are VERY pricey but you get what you pay for for the most part.

I think your right, I'll have to go with the NF. I really think the 100 MOA of adjustments will help me in the long run.

Same here. I go a few miles just past barstow. Only place I found a gem spot that can host to 1000 yard shooting.

Yea Ive been looking for a long range buddy for a while my friends are all CQB AR or shot gun guys. Only thing is my friends usually don't like going up there so its hard to get a trip going. I usually go with my cousin but he drives a monster bronco when we go out and it costs him about $200 in gas to get there and back.

Ive been trying to work up a desert day and talk my friends into going so if I get anything going ill be sure to let you know.

American made or American brand? Nightforce are made in Japan and God knows where Leupolds are made in nowadays. They don't say Made in USA at the bottom anymore. Yet, both of my old Vari-X tactical says Made in USA.
