Also check out Guardian Tactical LLC Ive done business with Jeff a bunch of times hes my go to guy for pretty much all my AR stuff. And he goes out of his way to make sure it happens and if he doesn't have it in stock he finds a way to get it. Even if he doesn't carry the item.

Been doing business with him before he went public. He was my little under ground parts guy

            Great guy great business.

Lately the gun shows have had STACKS of DPMS 10/20's.

I don't bother with the steel mags anymore--no anti-tilt, they completely suck!!

Definitely go with the Magpuls. They've never caused any issues for me. I haven't tried the DPMS branded mags, but I cantell you the C Products mags are utter garbage.

Bought my DPMS 20 rd rebuild kit from Sacramento Black Rifle on a sale for $18.99. Blocked it myself. Best way to save money if you have the tools and means to do that.

I havent used any other DPMS patterned mags though, so I cant comment on the quality of other brands.

I just bought some .308 Pmags 10/20 from http://www.goldenstatetactical.com/ma3x5110pmpo.html for $25 each. First time I ordered from them. I ordered over the 4th weekend. Got an email same day with tracking number. Received them I think on Monday or Tuesday. Pretty quick.

Now the only reason I found this thread was I was doing research on weather altered mags to hold 10 rounds for California needed to be 'permanently' fixed to hold 10 rounds. The reason I'm wondering is that the mags I got are permanently fixed to hold 10 rounds. Golden State Tactical puts a pop rivet on each side so you can't disassemble it and change it back to 20 rounds.

I'm fine with that as I have no desire to go to jail, BUT the rivets are not black and not pretty. So in the future I will inquire weather the other guys out there making Pmags 10/20 pin them. As I still haven't found weather I can have them without the conversion being permanent I can't advise, I'll keep looking on here to find out.

They have to be perm fixed. Just use a black sharpie or paint pen to color the rivet.

Thanks, that's what I thought. There is one company that sells the Pmags AR-15 10/20 and they send it to you as a rebuild kit, they tell you to glue the floorplate on to make it legal. What do most people do to make them permanent, glue seems messy?

THe only mags that feed properly in my CMMG AR-10 lower are the PMAG 10/20's from Midwest
-- I love the mythological significance given to Dum Dum Bullets. As if they're little tactical nukes, stacked up in "Assault Clips" ready to be "sprayfired" "from the hip" by pistol grip equipped "bullet hoses" instead of early variations of the softpoint bullets people have been using to take game with (and use for self-defense) for the last century.
