I Feel Like Building A Savage in 338

I Have a savage 111 rifle that i got not too long ago and i think its time to do something with it. I have a 338 blank barrel and i am stumped in what to chamber it in. Im trying to decide between 338 win mag, 338 edge, and 338RUM. I really want a 338 lapua but it seems like the one that would give me the most trouble, so i was wondering if anyone had tried it before, i know there is a savage 111 long range hunter model in 338 lapua but i dont know if its the same as the standard long actions. If its just a matter of the case being to big, i could make it a single shot.

I kind of wanted to stay away from belted because of reloading issues, which is why i was drawn away from the win mag, however i already have the headspace gauges from my 458 build so i could save a few bucks....

          What reloading issues?

Adjust your dies to headspace on the shoulder to match your chamber.

I've never reloaded belted magnums, but ive just heard that the brass doesnt last long.... is the issue with the weaker brass just a matter that it headspaces on the belt and not the shoulder?
