    CA-compliant rifles from DPMS soon?

I saw this in an email from DPMS today?

could they be possibly removing the "panther arms" markings from their lowers?

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Since I was looking at the S&W 15 Sport, I found their Sportical around the same time. Would be cool to see a CA version.

As long as they don't do what Bushmaster did with their "California legal" AR it could be nice. Don't seal the magwell DPMS! If they do that they can kiss this Cali market goodbye.

                Yay.

So DPMS is seeing money going out the window and decided to jump on the bandwagon of slapping a BB on a rifle and calling it "CA-compliant."

Still better off building your own, IMHO (esp since featureless is an option. I'd LOVE to see a major manufacturer make a featureless CA-legal AR).

IIRC, most, if not all DPMS rifles are named AWs

Just build one. thats what I did.

Every part I have is a DPMS part that is on the LRT-SASS, with the exception of the lower.

I used a CMMG lower that fits on the DPMS upper.

I doubt I would notice a difference in handling or firing.
                          1 Peter 3:15

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect

                          2 Corinthians 3:3
You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

Well assuming they did at least 5 minutes worth of research, it's probably a good assumption that whatever they are coming out with will not have the word "Panther" on it.

I was responding to a post saying that DPMS is going to slap a bullet button on and start shipping to California.
