High-Wear Parts

Hey guys,

Just curious as to what the most-worn areas of two common rifles are - the AK and the AR. That is to say, what part is going to wear out the quickest on each and how easy are they to repair/replace? BCG, barrel, etc. The reason I'm asking is cause I'm curious what the barrel life of a Saiga is, so I figured I may as well ask about the rest.

barrel life is depending on what kind of shooter you are. same goes for all other parts.
there are "average" lives of barrels but you have to search. i cant remember if it is 1000 or 10,000 rounds
