Well if you've been around long enough, you were able to get em early enough not to have to reload every 10 rds.

Isn't that the truth? I was safe from BRD until I heard I couldn't have one in the PRK. I lived in Nevada for 5 years, never 1 firearms purchase. Back in Kali for 4 years, I bought 6.

If I have the money, I should be able to own whatever I please.

Yeah its a lot of fun to shoot your rifles with evil sinister magazines. It puts a smile on your face especially if you were oppressed at one time. I didnt own no AK nor AR15s back in California because I personally thought the configurations to be legal were lame. I stuck with the accurate Rusky SKS (still out shoots this milled ak) and the good ol m1 carbine with the prebans. I have both still too!
